Design : All the parts are made of self supporting lightweight construction of CRCA/S.S/ Galvanized sheet metal universally closed dust-tight with angle flanges. Gaskets and CRCA/Galvanized screws.  The fan blades/ chamber/duct material will be resistant to wear/tear/erosion/caused by high velocity dust, to provide at least 5-10 years life.The test chamber is mounted on a stable frame and equipped with vibration absorbers in order to avoid the transfer of vibrations from the fan section.
Internal Finish : Interior made of vapor tight pre – polished 16 Swg 304 grade stainless Steel with adjustable / removable shelving.
External Finish : Outer material is 16 Swg CRCA /Stainless steel with primed and phosphate epoxy based electrostatic powder coating finishing for a pleasant appearance.
Insulation : It’s environmentally friendly free of asbestos and CFC guarantees the best possible insulation values and hence, the lowest possible operating costs.
Work Space Conditioning : Air flow maintained with the help of suitable capacity circulating fan.  The fan constantly sucks the dusty air.   A speed controlled drive-motor enabling continuous setting of air flow, with properly calibration method between air velocity and fan speed provided.  A suitable air duct to maintain linearity of air flow in the whole test space as per Mil Std Provided.
Heating System : Fast responding U-shaped jacketed air heaters are used to achieve the desired positive temperature. Air heaters are placed in the conditioning plenum such that there is no direct radiation from the heaters on to the test specimen.
Door & Gasket : Robust type hinges fitted on the right hand side of the chamber with front opening single door. Leak proof double lined silicon gasket will be provided.
Dust Concentration : Standard makes suitable dust concentration indicator and controller with RS 232 point and integrated with PC-PLC controlling system.  This test facility available in KCS/PDC- 80 MS models
Refrigeration System : To compensate the heat generated by fan motor and test object suitable refrigeration.  This test facility available in KCS/PDC- 80 MS models
Dust Dosage Device : A suitable capacity of Dust dosage device with the dust storage is provided to maintain required dust concentration in the test space.
Self regulating air compressor for the operation of the test facility. This test facility available in KCS/PDC- 80 MS
Dust Density Controller : A dust measuring and control device is incorporated which measures and controls the dust concentration of the re circulated air, the control device admit dust from the supply container via the dosage device.  This test facility available in KCS/PDC- 80 MS models  
Ports Holes : Even in the standard version of the equipment all sizes are equipped with two standard ports. These are located on the left or on the right side of the test chamber and can be used for inserting measurement and control cables, other supply connections or additional equipment.
Viewing Window : The multi pane window will consist 4 toughened clear glasses sealed with silicone and separated by spacers to form a completely vaccumised window.
Controller System : PID/ PLC based Color display Touch screen TFT provided with program logic control system for to control chamber temperature, humidity, air velocity and dust concentration. A no of programs & profile segments with ramp & soak duration provided for cyclic operation. The controller is able to communicate with many different types of hardware using high speed RS 232/485 communications ports and Ethernet / USB communications for fast downloads. Remote monitoring and operation. Internet explorer based comm. On board comms ports. Set value & process value with graphical display on main screen. Graphical trend and operating parameters of auto tune & calibration. PC communication facility for operating the chamber through PC & data logging option provided with log interval. Dust Agitation Mechanism : A dynamically balanced blade assembly and motor of sufficient capacity, without allowing heating up unduly during a constant operation. The assembly designed to give specified dust concentration as per JSS 55555, i.e. average dust sprayed 25 grams +/- 5 grams in 5 minutes.
IP test Attachment : Blower with motor provided to spray the dust in the chamber. The blower should suck the air from the chamber through wire mesh sieve. The amount of talcum powder sprayed 2Kg/cm sq of the chamber test volume. Suitable ducting provided for spraying the dust in the chamber. The sieve will be provided with vibration arrangement to allow free flow of dust. The blower around 8 to 10 air changes per minute. A vacuum pump will be provided with a flexible hose and dust filter. Suitable capacity vacuum pump provided with suitable vacuum value and dust filter. A pressure gauge and monometer tube provided for measuring the different pressure. Suitable pipe line with suitable flare connection and flexible hose provided to make the suction connecting to the enclosure.
Safety : Moreover, the test chamber is equipped with an adjustable safety cut – out against high and low temperatures. Low water level cut – off with alarm issued visually as well as acoustically. In addition, a potential – free contact is available. Every electrical functional circuit is equipped its own safety facility which shuts down the functional circuit affected or the entire test chamber in case of a malfunction.
